Our History
The Delta Upsilon Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated established the Dynamic Urban Opportunities Foundation, Incorporated (DUOF) in 2007 as an independent nonprofit organization.

Since inception, the Delta Upsilon Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. held education as a pillar of community service and has engaged in various endeavors of fundraising to support providing scholarships to support the educational dreams of the children of the greater Puget Sound area. Each successive year and successful fundraising event provided means to provide more and continued support affecting the children in the area. As the membership of the chapter grew, the members realized we could make a greater impact though partnership and becoming a nonprofit organization, DUOF.
